This commitment extends to maintaining quality classroom teaching, supporting student activities, and encouraging student participation in community service.

In addition to the academic curriculum, the School of Law provides an accelerated program, joint degree programs, an LLM program in Agricultural Law, and several clinical programs. The School of Law, in collaboration with the J. William Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences of the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, has established a pilot program that enables eligible students to enter law school after completing their third year of college. Students have the opportunity to pursue a joint JD/MBA or JD/MPA while at the School of Law. Realizing the importance of actual live-client contact, the law school offers six clinical programs, including the Basic Criminal Clinic, Civil Clinic, Advanced Criminal Clinic, and the Federal Practice Clinic. The clinics provide much needed legal services for the local community, while assisting students begin the transition from third-year law student to practicing attorney.
