Kansas Bar Association

In the State of Kansas, many people are injured because of the negligence, recklessness, or intentional misconduct of an individual or company. These people have the opportunity to file a personal injury lawsuit with the help of a lawyer in their state. Unfortunately, not all people that call themselves lawyers are reputable or able to properly launch a lawsuit. Membership in the Kansas Bar Association (KBA) is the reassurance needed to insure that an individual is qualified to present a court case in front of Kansas’s courts.

The Kansas Bar Association is a voluntary organization representing legal professionals in the state of Kansas. The KBA is dedicated to advancing the professionalism and legal skills of lawyers, promoting the interests of the legal profession, providing services to its members, advocating positions on law-related issues, encouraging public understanding of the law, and promoting the effective administration of the American system of justice.

Members of the KBE enjoy numerous membership benefits. Some of these benefits include retirement plans, health programs, bulletin boards, subscription to the KBA Journal and online Journal index, KBA bookstore, free public information pamphlets, discounted legal database searches, KBA VISA card, travel discounts, lawyer referral service, and legislative lobbying services. There are currently about 6,500 legal professionals who are members of the association.
