The Rand Institute for Civil Justice is an organization devoted to the study of the civil justice system and known for its studies of trends in jury verdicts, and relevance to tort lawyers, and relating issues. The Institute works for change in the civil justice system by analyzing trends and outcomes, identifying and evaluating policy options, and bringing together representatives of different interests to debate alternative solutions to policy problems.
